Thanks to the automatic adjustment, there is no need to tweak the twinkle every now and then, compared to the otherwise good lamps of the Led Lenser. There is more than enough light output, but the adjustment doesn't dazzle.
Then a couple of little annoying topics:
When standing still in a severe frost, the light reflected from the breathing fumes floating in front of the light sensor causes the lamp to dim suddenly. The same effect is present with relatively little snowfall.
I have a big (60cm circumference) head, so the threaded spike from the lamp to the battery comes to the head when dressing up quite tight. As a result, the lamp and / or the battery holder on the back of the head retract towards the left ear. Yes, I already claim this as a design error. On the other hand, when wearing thin headgear in the summer, and especially for smaller-headed lightheads, the shortness of the cord is hardly a disadvantage.
The lamp does adjust the amount of light "as needed." This will probably save energy as it will last all night with the same charge. The amount of light emitted by the lamp is, in my opinion, sufficient for running on the trails in the November forest. Sits well on the head and feels balanced when running.
