It doesn't fit satisfactorily on the stock/optics of a TA rifle, but it fits a standard Tikka shotgun well enough to meet the law. I use this with the Gunrunner backpack.

The hood doesn't fit my gun very well (Grs log and big binoculars) but it's still useful, so I recommend getting it with a backpack. The quality of the hood is good. When detached from the gun, it works as a transport bag for bulk goods or even as a seat cover.

It's difficult to get it tightly placed on top of the scabbard if you want to use it as a snow cover, for example. Meets the definition of a gun cover during car transport together with a scabbard.

Go about your business. However, it was not compatible with the Eberlestock Gunrunner Pack (H2) backpack and you always have to tinker a bit to get it adjusted to a hood for the rear of the gun.

Fits well on the back and is a durable backpack. When you removed the plastic plate from the back of the backpack, the rifle with the binoculars and bibod fits quite well in the gun case. A small minus of the weight of the backpack.
