If you start to notice leaks along your seams, seam sealing can make them waterproof again, extending the life of your tent. The process can be easier than you might think.

Great, lightweight and easy to pitch quickly. There are no pockets in the tent walls

I wasn't familiar with Varuste before this purchase.
I ordered an MSR Hubba Hubba tent as well as a Footprint. I had to make a modification, and I really appreciated their responsiveness and understanding.
Thank you, Jenni👍.
I won't hesitate to recommend this site and recommend it!

I only used the tent twice, there were no defects or shortcomings. All materials are light, durable and comfortable. The only improvement I wanted was for the interior, such as pockets for small items or a phone, and the loop on the roof is not quite an MSR type solution. I added my own loop on the roof so I could hang something, for example a ceiling lamp.

+ Very easy to pitch tent, with just one pole, making it super easy to move. I haven't tried other models, so I can't compare. Even if this isn't the most important point, in use, it's very, very appreciable. I think that's why I picked this model up again. I saw that Decathlon had released a model with exactly the same design.
+ Space, both inside and for bags in the vestibules. Likewise, very appreciable in use. The height is also very comfortable for the weight/size.
+ Good resistance to the elements (wind and rain)
+ Lightweight, compact
+ Very stylish with a white exterior, discreet in green (my choice this time)
- Expensive tent despite all its positives. I didn't buy it for its weight or waterproofing, but based on more subjective criteria (comfort, assembly, practicality).
For this price, you can find lighter and/or more durable tents from other brands. I think MSR is playing on the reputation of its tent, which doesn't change (except for its price).
-After a certain number of uses, the waterproofing is no longer fully effective, especially the floor and the welded seams.
Furthermore, these unseal over time. If you replace it after five years, ignore this. My feeling is that, for this price, the tent should hold up a little better for a little longer.
=I've seen reviews stating good ventilation. This hasn't been my experience, with the outer tent often damp in the morning. But with two people at night, at altitudes where the nights are cool and the humidity rises. So I'm not sure if this is due to the tent, but perhaps to the area of use. I think another tent would have given this result under the same conditions.

Enjoyed our first hike with the MSR Hubbaz Hubba NX immensely! What a super light and wonderfully well designed tent. It is quick and easy to set up. Ventilates well. The entrances on both sides with space for a large backpack and shoes is ideal! In short: a very nice trekking tent.
