Product description

Developed from the operational experience of the Magpul DynamicsSM team, the B.A.D. Lever (Battery Assist Device) is designed to considerably improve the speed and efficiency of the AR15/M16 bolt catch. The B.A.D. Lever quickly addresses reloading and malfunction clearance shortcomings of AR15/M16 platforms by extending a paddle to the right side of the weapon, allowing manipulation of the bolt stop from the fire control/ready position with the right-hand trigger finger.

Made from milspec-anodized aluminum, the B.A.D. Lever attaches to the standard AR15/M16 bolt release without permanent modification to the weapon. Functional for both left and right-handed shooters, the B.A.D. Lever also allows traditional bolt catch manipulation according to the AR15/M16 manual of arms. All mounting hardware included.

It didn’t fit into the three different scans where I fitted this (and I didn’t want to forge BAD). There should be a mention on Magpull's product pages that, due to its dimensions, it is not suitable for almost all skins. I myself could not take this into account.

A handy lever for gun handling ammunition. I don’t see any greater benefit to the racer. In the woods, it is possible for the grinder to get something out of the way between the lever and the lower, which may prevent the bolt catch from working and the skate from locking behind. Not in it - just a nice vipstaak that works.

An absolute accessory in terms of usability, unless the interface is originally two-sided. Compared to my own weapon, I would have longed for a slightly longer lever operating arm so that it could be better found with a trigger finger.
