First of all, it should be noted that the capacity of this bag is higher than what many sites or YouTube reviews indicate. The internal volume is actually 2250 Cu In / 36.9 l (data written on the bag's label), the total volume with the external pockets is 2850 Cu In / 46.7 l (according to Eberlestock), so we are far from the 34 or 31 l often cited by mistake. With the two 2 l accessory pockets (actually 2.25 l) which fit perfectly into the bag without hindering access to the side pockets, we can increase the total capacity of this bag to more than 51 l, for example the capacity of the TT RAID PACK Mk III, but with more modularity and much better accessibility to the pockets. By adding 2 small "general purpose" pockets to be placed on the belt, we can even reach 54 l. It certainly won't be the lightest bag, but you can't have everything, and it's no heavier than the TT RAID PACK, for example. By replacing the side pockets with larger ones (Eberlestock), or adding more (Zpacks) held in place by the compression straps, you can easily increase this capacity to 70 L.
The FAC TRACK fits all sizes well. In my case, due to a slim build (1.77m, 63kg) that was never taken into account in the measurements, the TTs have a back that's a little too long, and the Fjallraven Kajkas don't fit on my hips. Here, the back adjustment (unfortunately a little difficult because the adjustment loops are too tight, so adjustments on the trail will be avoided) allows for a shoulder strap that adapts even to a very slim build.
Also worth noting, the FAC TARCK now features a "PULL FORWARD" belt that can be easily tightened by pulling forward. Thanks to Eberlestock for adding this improvement to a bag that has been in their catalog for a long time.
The bag is very comfortable, although a little less so than the FREEFALL, which features the new INTEX frame. It has the advantage of being quite compact compared to the competition (it doesn't protrude behind the head or to the sides). In fact, it almost meets IATA standards (without the additional pockets) if you don't fill it to the brim, with a minimum height of 55/56 cm and a detachable belt. In any case, it will be easier to transport (car, bus, train) due to its affordable dimensions.
Among the strong points: the PULL FORWARD adjustment, good back ventilation, side pockets that are both easy to access (you can even fit a military canteen in them without any problem) but also secure, the large front opening in addition to the classic top access, comfort, and MOLLE accessory options (for me, 2 x 2L + 2 x GENERAL PURPOSE SMALL + straps). Note that the integrated rain cover covers the bag, but not the bag + 2 side pockets. Since it's detachable, you can simply replace it with a more suitable one.
Among the points that could have been improved: the lack of small pockets and compression straps inside (previous version), a single zipper rather than a double-slider for the top pocket (not a big deal), and the difficult back adjustment. The major drawback of this bag is its weight. In practice, unless you need its special features (modularity, heavy load capacity), you tend to prefer a lighter bag. A second drawback is the zipper closure and relatively small depth, which limit the ability to carry large items (such as a thick sleeping bag, for example) because you can't force the zipper.
Ideal for those looking for a modular and very robust bag that can carry a dense load, this bag will, however, be heavy and somewhat limited (dimensions, volume) for use more focused on hiking.

I myself actively use the older model of the backpack, with mollekuja along the entire length of the backpack. Ergonomically very good. Functional daypack. Maybe a bit small in terms of size, you have to tie the sleeping bag and pad to the outside of the backpack if you want to take them with you.| Overall rating |
The backpack is very nice, well structured and allows for good organization in cramming the contents, thanks also to large external pockets. Convenient front and top access. The only flaw I'm experiencing is due to the material of the shoulder straps which are very padded and would seem comfortable, but something comes out of the seams here and there through the fabric that "stings" the skin if you wear only a light shirt as it can be in summer. This is what I have noticed on other ends of the same brand. However, I miss testing them over long distances to understand whether or not this thing affects the comfort which otherwise would be very good, given that the shoulder straps can be adjusted in height very easily and the waist band is generous and supports well, as well as the lumbar padding.
