I am very satisfied with my purchase. Water running rose to a whole new level with these. Even when stepping on the sandy bottom, you feel that you are doing significantly more work with your leg muscles than without these "slippers". Pedaling in the water was challenging at first and required learning. The second time it went much better. I'm progressing really slowly with these, because I still have a little bit of strength in me - still. Yes, these will increase their fitness. The fish in the lake have not been excited about the red (smaller size) color of the shoes so far, luckily!
