Self-supporting three-season tent with excellent ventilation, optimised for use during the warmer months of the year. The vestibules can be entirely rolled up on both sides of the tent so you can enjoy the view from the inner tent while keeping insects at bay.
The flysheet is raised on the short ends and this together with the highly positioned vents and inner tent entirely in mesh fabric makes the tent incredibly well ventilated and perfect for tropical adventures. In unstable but warm weather the doors can be fastened in half-open position, leaving the inner tent protected from the rain. The inner tent and the flysheet are connected and supported by two tent poles that cross each other twice. This makes the inner tent self supporting, while the vestibules are supported using guylines and tent pegs.
Six guylines in Dyneema anchor the tent to the ground and give it good stability. Two openings and two vestibules make it easy to organise your side of the tent, and give you the possibility of using the entrance on the lee side during windy weather. Generous height provides comfortable tent life. Inside the inner tent is a clothesline and six storage pockets for bottles, flashlights, clothes etc. Attachment points for Gear Loft (an accessory) in the inner tent.
The flysheet is made from Fjällräven’s new high-performance TripleRip nylon and an innovative construction that combines two different fabric weights – 20 denier in the top part and 40 denier at the bottom where abrasion is most intensive – giving excellent strength despite the tent’s low weight. Just like all of Fjällräven’s tents, Abisko View 2 is made entirely without PVC plastic and toxic flame retardants, and its impregnation is fluorocarbon free.

Otherwise it's ok, but for some reason this tent (at least the blue version and for summer time) collects flies and other flying fluff between the inner and outer tent, so that after about an hour the tent has a horrible buzz. So the bugs can't get/can't fly out of that intermediate space, and it's complicated by the fact that you can't detach the outer tent from the inner tent "for draining the dirt", because the inner tent can't stay upright without the outer tent. It doesn't help, even if you wrap the apse up on both sides (insects just don't understand how to fly down and out). So the whole plant had to be dismantled to get rid of the insects. The same process again in a couple of hours. Tried in several different terrains in spring, mid-summer and late summer, and always the same thing. Therefore, I haven't really been able to use this tent during the summer, even though insects have never bothered me before when camping in many other tents. After all, it's normal that some furry person gets lost there every now and then, but for some reason this tent has acted as a real fly swatter. If you set it up in the dark at night, maybe you won't find the insects there right away, but when morning comes, it is certain that there will be plenty of flies, wasps, butterflies, wasps, etc. This is a great tool for insect enthusiasts!

Great quality tent. My friend and I took the rain and wind well on our last trip. The sitting height is good, as it is easy to change clothes in the tent. Easy to assemble by yourself. I bought in addition to the footprint. There should be more tie-down points when you want to lift the apse up and just admire the scenery. The tent fabric dried and aired out quickly when at home after the trip I reassembled and vacuumed the tent in the rain after packing.

A quick-to-erect tent that feels more spacious than its actual dimensions. Doors on both sides allow you to leave the tent without disturbing the person sleeping next to you. Almost the entire side of the door with mosquito nets made it possible to enjoy the lake view "with all the money". A tunnel tent could not have been set up in that place, on the bare rock. Great experience!

High quality 2person backpacking tent with awesome ventilation and "liveability" features (interior space / pockets). Plus, it's easy to assemble. Only thing to note is that due to the full mesh inner, this is not a winter tent, though, to be fair to Fjallraven, they don't market it as such. In summary, a premium product.

Love the tent. Super easy and fast to put up and take down. Though a bit snug for two people. Also worked really well as I had to take a flight to the destination and the tent is really light and packs into rather small size- so convenient for traveling even longer distances.
