Product description

Rex Specs are protective eyewear for the active dog. They are stable and secure while still allowing for full jaw motion and field of view. Rex Specs protect your dogs eyes from debris, environmental hazards, and sun. All lenses are UVA/UVB protective and assist in the treatment of canine eye conditions such as pannus (Chronic Superficial Keratitis). Rex Specs have been designed and tested for the working dog be insure they meet the needs of any dog and any adventure.

All lenses are interchangeable, spherical, and rated UV400 to provide protection from UVA/UVB rays.
Dynamic strap system enables full jaw movement
Rex Specs are one size fits most - fits dogs 30-100 lbs depending on head shape. We recommend a strap extender if your dog's head is greater that 20 inches around. Measure underneath their chin from the soft part of their lower jaw and then around their head below their ears to the other side.

Have not used the glasses that much yet but seems to be a good fit. However, the plastic glass is very scratch sensitive.

Fits very well on the dog and they feel very solid. Just follow the rex spec's own instructions to measure around the nose and skull. The lens is easy to remove to practice wearing them and it is just as easy to pick in again.

Excellent product. Easy to put on the dog and the dog quickly adopted it. However, it is advisable to have and keep an easily removable protective film on the lenses during the first use to prevent scratching. Once the dog gets used to the glasses, the risk of scratching is no longer equal 😀

Absolutely great product. My dog has dry eyes and chronic corneal inflammation (pannus), so come to the need of a hard swimmer in the summer time. A couple of first uses went to improving the adjustments and ear-thinning - the human error was to set the glasses too high, and adjust the straps too tight - but from the fifth use onwards, the cam itself pushed long for the head to put on. Of course, delicacies or awards or other comfortable things should be done while learning to be in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, so that the use feels as comfortable as possible during getting used to. Ladies are also "goggles" if a dog likes to ventilate his head outdoors at low speeds, do not dry your eyes let alone go flies. (Seat belt in use.) A few drives kept his head visibly hidden, but after a couple of weeks pushing his head out the window as before. The absolute plus is that the lens is replaceable, so in time the whole thing doesn’t go to replacement due to the lens being scratched. A polarized lens would also be an option for swimmers and skiers, but all in due course.
