Fjällräven Dome 2 Footprint

Excellent addition to the tent, easier to dry when used in wet conditions.

I just love a footprint because it gives me more options when looking for a pitch site. I am confident that my tent base will be protected and that my sleeping mat is safe. With the Keb Dome it is not really necessary but the peace of mind is worth half a kilo.

An absolute must-buy with Dome2 if the extra weight is not a problem. It is a bit laborious to attach, but once it is in place, there is no need to remove it, and the footprint is ready to use as soon as the tent is set up. It keeps debris out of the tent effectively while keeping the bottoms of items in the vestibules clean. The downside is that water (rain) that runs through the bottom of the tent does not always drain completely outside the footprint, and since the FP is waterproof, poor positioning of the tent can direct this runoff water to a more central area in the vestibule.

Works great, easy to hook to the tent, heavy duty. I see this lasting a very long time!

Have some problems making this fit my Abisko Dome, seem too small, and one of the straps broke when it got too stretched.

Strong base fabric and strong seams, fits well with Abisko Dome 2.
