The material breaks quickly at the point of folding and thus the waterproofness suffers. I got a new one under warranty, but the same goes for this one. Of course, the backpack has been in almost daily use, e.g. commuting by bike. Otherwise a functional backpack.

A good backpack for paddlers and rowers or otherwise comfortable in wet conditions. Seems very durable.
Ergonomically it is not terribly comfortable so-called. as an ordinary backpack because it’s so terribly stiff (unless then a little sagging in use, I’ve only had about a month). On the other hand, the shoulder straps and lumbar / chest straps are good and there is room for adjustment.
You should be careful when closing the backpack if it ends up swimming in the water a lot. The attachment options are to attach the clips to the sides or together, and at least once after the side attachment, water had seeped in (despite rolling). The surest way is probably to tie them together, even if it is not so streamlined.
Side pockets for a beverage bottle, etc. are very useful, but most of all I would like some small zippered or similar inside pocket for this, where you can get valuables separately. That’s perhaps the biggest downside, although overall, I really like the backpack.
Update after several months of use: The product is not waterproof, but it feels like water is always seeping in very wet conditions, no matter how carefully you roll it. The backpack would be good in many ways, by the way, but since nothing is more annoying than waterproof gear that doesn’t hold water, I drop the star rating at this point, but graciously leave it for two more.

After a year of use, holes appeared in the material but I got a new one under warranty.
