Varanger camp was the world’s first lavvu with a camp entrance solution! With the same durable, solid details as its award winning namesake Varanger, it is equipped for four-season adventures; named the best lavvu for winter use by Norway’s largest outdoor magazine.
The entrance is expanded, to make entry and exit more comfortable, as well as to prevent the rain coming directly into the tent when one opens the entrance. In addition, it gives you the feeling of better space in the tent. The extension is equipped with two windows which ensure good light into the tent. The lavvu has a mosquito net in the entrance and several adjustable vents to ensure a good indoor climate.
To make your lavvu-life even more comfortable, it is possible to mount both ground floor and inner tent to the lavvu as extra equipment. It is also possible to light fire with an oven or burner because of the flame retardant treated material of the fabric.

I have owned and regularly used the Pasvik 4-6 for about 4 years. The Pasvik is a great tent, the fabric is tough and totally waterproof, the conical design is very windproof, it is easy to pitch up and break down and pretty much bomb proof. But during longer camps and wet days I always thought I wish Helsport had gone that extra mile, by adding a small awning, a couple of widows, another ventilation port and maybe some more guy pegging points. Helsport must have read my mind because here we have the Varanger Camp 4-6, with all of the above! It only arrived yesterday, and I have only practice pitched it, but already I think this perfection improved and it could be my tent for life! For 1-2 people it is the perfect base camp, I’m using it this weekend, and I already know it’ll be perfect!

— Show originalWith the inner tent and extra floor, the "Varanger Camp 4-6" is a good family tent (2 adults + 3 children) which is both compact and just big enough for us, e.g. The tent makes a very solid impression, assembly and disassembly is easy and relatively quick. — Show originalIt arrived from Finland to Japan (Hokkaido) in about 10 days from the order. There is no snow yet, but I set it up immediately.
It was easy to set up for the first time. I put a portable kerosene heater inside (outside air around 8 ℃, no wind and fine weather).
The inside quickly became fluffy and comfortable. It is supposed to be used on snow, so I'm looking forward to it in the future.| Overall rating |

Simply love this tent. Helsport deliver what their reputation promises. Two grown ups, three kids, 10/11 and 15 and a dog. Now we all fits in one tent. Next thing is to buy a titanium tent stove and the 4 season tent gear is completed. Simon / Frida / Bill / Charles / Teodor and the chihuahua Bruce
