Good, stylish, stable leather boots, These are best for cooler weather, spring, autumn, and winter with an extra wool insole. I haven't used these outdoors yet, but have only tried them indoors at home. I tried size 47, which is my normal size, in a store here in Sweden, but it was too narrow in width despite Comfort Fit with slightly thicker winter socks, so I bought 1.5 sizes larger than I usually wear, partly because I want to be able to use these for winter use, so that I can accommodate my wide feet, and to be able to wear really thick socks during the winter. The heels were a little loose with this size 48.5, but everything can be fixed with a little imagination. I solved the size problem with loose heels by adding an extra insole, and a piece of an old sleeping mat for the heels, and special lacing of the boots, which presses the foot against the heel. Now they fit like a glove :)

You wear hiking boots for difficult terrain, quite heavy though.

Very good for my purpose. The only minus is the slight skew of the left side. I had the same problem with my previous Meindl shoes.

Met expectations on more difficult terrain. Sturdy, comfortable and of high quality. I have often had a problem with the inner edge of the big toe rubbing against the adjacent toe, and the Comfort Fit insole seems to help this perfectly, leaving plenty of wiggle room for the toes.

They are a very good boot and shed the water very well and the leather dries quickly
