Great size for water bottles and waterproofs. Multiple straps make it easy to strap on to any rucksack, in any position, which is brilliant if your sack is full and stretched tight. Perfect for a sack like mine with no top pocket, and also in wet weather when I can cover the entire main sack with a raincover, but still have accessible pockets by attaching them to the shoulder straps, if necessary, or even the lap strap.
