The three Gas Rings on the Bolt are critical for maintaining proper gas system pressure and rifle function. Any time you experience rifle performance issues, it’s worth replacing the Gas Rings. Three are required, and when installing, make sure to space the ring gaps 120 degrees apart around the bolt body to minimize gas pressure loss. Set of 3.
