The SynMat HL is the world’s lightest mat at its warmth and comfort levels! It packs to an extremely small size and its tapered profile fits into the smallest tents. Tapered design and 20 denier fabric for weight reduction, microfiber insulation for 3-season warmth and 7cm thickness for comfort. This mat proves that comfort and warmth need not be sacrificed in pursuit of super light packing.
Next-to-skin comfort and anti-slip GripSkin honeycomb-pattern coating. Laminate is air tight and impervious to hydrolysis.
Clever Pumpsack included: The Schnozzel Pumpbag allows you to inflate the mat rapidly while preventing humidity from your breath affecting the insulation. It also doubles as an ultra lightweight compression stuffsack.

— Show originalVery good gram file bag. Goes into a ridiculously small space and doesn’t press much on anything. It literally fits in a large pocket. A nice extra is the included filling pump bag, which the manufacturer also recommends to use as a compression bag, even for spare clothes. Personally, I used it as a protective bag for the sleeping bag, the bag inside the backpack. I bought another one for the trip and stuffed it with clothes. Amazingly thin but durable. A totally tight bag is not, when it is almost emptied, secretly absorbs air from something.
The base is comfortable, warm and thick even for a heavy person on the ground, suitable for a tall tall man but the width could be a few inches more. A person who has a bad dream may not stay on. Terrain testing done, week trip. Very good platform. It easily gets overfilled, but the air always gets out. Too full a platform easily rolls off ...Brand
