Product description

The lightest trekking umbrella of the light trek serie. Light Trek Ultra is extra lightweight (only 175 g) but sturdy. 6 special ribs made of aluminium and real carbon reduce the weight down to minimum. Same as for the light trek as the basic model the light trek ultra has got only the latest and best materials.

Featherweight but also extremely stabile frame made of aluminium and real carbon; all frame parts are highly flexible and corrosion resistant.
3-section aluminium shaft in 10 corner shape, anodized in black.
Manual opening and closing by comfortable push/pull runner system – no piniching of fingers.
Extra short tips reduce the risk of injuries.
Comfortable EVA-hard-foam handle with wrist loop; the wrist loop at the handle can be adjusted to the individual size of your hand.
Polyester fabric with Teflon®-treatment for highest water repellency; double stitched seams between the panels prevent the canopy from being torn out.
Foldable case with practical carrying loop; alternatively the light trek ultra can be fixed with the carabiner at the backpack, belt or bag.

A sturdy umbrella. The actual user experience is still missing, but it opens and closes nicely. It did arrive already a little "broken", as one support pin had detached from the shade. However, it was put back in place without damaging the shade. The country of manufacture is China, so this should not be called Euroschirm, but Chinaschirm.

A very light umbrella, and now for a couple of uses it has worked perfectly. The umbrella, in this ultra-light version, is a really good addition even on hiking trips, when you can't always pull on your rain gear immediately in the event of a downpour.

A light and yet seemingly durable umbrella based on a week's outing use. I like to take this with me on trips, because it weighs almost nothing and still provides good protection. A bit pricey, but if it lasts, it's worth the price for the features.

Feels robust even though it's so light. It got caught by a gust the other day and inverted, but there was no damage and it returned easily to its normal position. Not as stormworthy as some other (bigger, heavier) umbrellas I'm sure but excellent as a keep-in-the-backpack-and-barely-notice-it back up. Smooth to deploy and comes with a good sleeve to keep it tidy. Way better than cheapo ones of a similar design. Excellent service.

Good and light. Not as sturdy/durable as, for example, the Euroschirm Birdiepal Outdoor, which lasted ~7 years. On the other hand, it takes up a much smaller space.
