Ideal for multiday tours and self-supported races, the ORTLIEB Gravel-Pack duo offers you a combined payload of 25 liters for additional gear such as mess kits, food and other “luxury” items. Mounting the Pack to your lowrider bike rack allows you to maintain a low center of gravity and undiminished off-road agility despite your extra gear.
While the Pack’s streamlined design – without inside pockets and a shoulder-strap pad – helps to keep it in the featherweight class, its lightweight, wear-resistant material withstands even the harshest of rock and gravel conditions you encounter on your way. And no matter how wet the weather, your things will stay dry thanks to the proven ORTLIEB-waterproof quality and roll closure.
With the QL2.1 system and two mounting hooks, the Gravel-Pack remains tightly attached to your bike rack while you ride over hill and dale on your gravel grinder, mountain bike or fatbike.

After a couple of trips, I can say that they do their job! They are a suitable size if you want something a little smaller than backrollers. They don't look so chubby and are a little more aerodynamic. It's good to note that these don't come with a shoulder strap, but in my own use this doesn't matter that much. I trust that the Ortliebs will last a long time. The attachment to the taraka can be done with a little adjustment and is solid with two links. Although I wonder if the system could be somehow easier - now quick removal and attachment is not possible if you want the bags to be firmly in place. This is a small minus.| Overall rating |
Very nice bags. Good fitting on rack

Made of thin but strong material. Works well and is my choice for touring. I do wish the bag clips where the strap is attached were permanently welded to the bag fabric. I had one of them fall off on the first trip. However, Ortlieb's warranty works well and I got new bags. This is so that Ortlieb can figure out the reason for the fall off.
