On 05/28/2025 I purchased a Kestrel 5700 Ballistic Link from Varuste.net, using the Klarna platform for payment. Communication from the store was initially quick and efficient: I received immediate confirmation of the order and the related tracking code, a sign that the item had been promptly shipped. Even though the response times of customer service to my subsequent requests were not very fast, the answers still arrived. Overall, the experience with the store was positive, well-organized and correct, even if there is room for improvement in post-sales communication.

The package was entrusted to the GLS courier, with active tracking from day one. However, the experience with shipping was anything but smooth.
On 05/30/2025 the package was finally shipped.
On 06/02/2025 it reached the GLS headquarters in Germany.
Then, an 8-day silence, until 06/10/2025, when it appeared at the Italian headquarters in Sordio.
After some confusing updates, only on 06/12/2025 was it finally available in storage in Sondrio, as per my request.
The tracking was intermittent and unclear, and the transit times were long and hard to justify, considering that it was a European shipment.

The Kestrel 5700 Ballistic Link is a high-level device for ballistic calculation, already tested by me in the EliteX version. I chose this model for the best functionality/price ratio, since I did not need the more advanced features of the Elite.
The device proved to be precise, intuitive and reliable, with all the features needed for precision shooting. The price, usually high, on Varuste.net was competitive, which was an additional incentive to purchase.
