A decent, affordable pole. The basket came off one of them on the first day, and they smell like oil.

The twist-lock mechanism needs to be tightened really hard to hold, and loosening it requires quite a bit of effort. They are rather heavy and feel cheap. On my pair, the screw tensioning the spring inside one of the poles came loose during the first use, though it was easy to screw back into place. A decent compromise between price, weight, and durability.

I've been on several hikes with these. Not the lightest, but they hold up well. The spike caps got lost somewhere on the first hike.

The wrist strap rubs. There was a scratch on the handle when I bought it, which I noticed at home. Otherwise, just a basic stick, works.

A good basic telescopic rod. The basic problem with these twistlocks is of course that they don't withstand abuse very well, so you have to be careful with the extension. Of course, this is more of a user problem than a product problem.
