Oval-shaped symmetrical aluminum locking ring with Screw-Lock screw locking. A light all-black model, which is suitable for versatile general use in fall protection for tactical conditions, such as stage & theater conditions, where you don't want the equipment to be easily noticeable. A red safety indicator that visibly warns in the near distance if the gate has been forgotten to lock. The Screw-Lock screw lock is a good choice for occasional use and icy and dirty conditions. The lock is opened and closed by twisting the sheath. Gate opening 22 mm. The optional Petzl Captiv positioning bar keeps the closure ring attached to the device, rope or anchor point, in the correct position and loaded correctly in the longitudinal direction.

Oval is the best possible shape for use with wide-bodied metal equipment, such as pulleys, lifting handles or equipment that locks with progress, offering an even load thanks to good weight distribution.

The H profile of the frame enables high breaking strength and lightness, protects the identification markings inside the profile from wear and forms the contact surface with the least wear on the rope. The KeyLock gate is smooth and prevents equipment from catching (which happens with a normal hook-like gate). A new type of Fluid Interior finish: The rounded end of the gate and the edge of the locking sheath prevent fibers from getting caught in their corners, reduce fiber wear and make it easier to turn the closing ring into the correct position.
