It gets pilled, especially if you go outside with a backpack on your back, so the back looks pretty rough quickly, wear and tear is also a possible concern with merino wool.

Excellent material, excellent fit. Warm. No itching depsite being pure wool. There is simply no better clothing on the market than Devold.
