I bought it for my son, and he has been happy with it; it provides good illumination, and hopefully the strap prevents it from being dropped. It gets quite warm while charging.

On the plus side, a powerful spotlight and dimmer adjustment, easy to use because of the on/off button. The right size. The downside is the lack of red (or other colored) light. It broke and I had to return it after a year of use, because the lamp no longer took power from the batteries (the batteries and charger were ok)
