Luger

Luger’s little tube is conveniently sized - not too small to be difficult to handle, not too big to be awkward. It doesn’t quite go in a jacket or anorak pocket, but in a backpack and a fair-sized belt bag.
The overall impression is neat. The forest green coating of the pipe gives a good grip and feel. The included black nylon bag is a good basic bag and swallows small items like a small pocket stand in addition to the tube. The eyepiece cover is a strong plastic, screw-on cup that inspires confidence. The zoom is suitably rigid. Focusing works with a rather slow transmission, which makes in-depth landscape raking cumbersome.
The image is sharp. At the highest magnifications of the zoom eyepiece, the contrast and sharpness are slightly reduced and the brightness is reduced in a way familiar to the zoom. The picture is still viewable. The tubes focus on about four meters.
Good: comfortable to handle size, image quality, high-quality overall impression, eyepiece protective cup withstands hiking, sliding backlight protection, value for money.
The bad: the tripod thread should be in the middle of the tube for pocket stands - now the tube is back-weighted, the eyepiece eyecup is only rubber collapsible, the lens cover is not the level of the eyepiece cover, focusing could be faster.
I recommend: for air rifles as a track tube. For paddlers, hikers and cyclists as a travel tube. As an accompanying pipe, as a cottage pipe.
