Designed and built with the collaboration of world class HOKA ONE ONE® trail athletes, the Torrent boasts competitive credentials. Created as a trail racer, it incorporates the seemingly contradictory combination of cushioning and agility. The lightweight performance is made possible with a PROFLY™ midsole, providing a forgiving landing and responsive toe-off. — Show originalI went to Ylläs with these shoes. I rose e.g. Pirunkuru, with a full quarry of 238 ascent meters on one ascent of 1130m. rise time 23.48 min.
The shoe worked great. The rubber compound on the bottom is like a sticker with nothing slipping. I also did a 4h40min run and my legs were not tired. The toe space is good, even if the feet swell a long way, space was enough.
ps. I took a couple of pictures rising towards the Belfry.

I have not yet experimented with more than 20 km of runs how the damping treats the feet with longer runs. This would certainly be at its best as a fast racing shoe in trail hiking.| Overall rating |
