Osprey understands that children grow more than quickly, that's why they've equipped the Ace with an ultra-adjustable torso and Fit-on-the-Fly™ hipbelt. The Ace 50 will grow with your child providing them with years of comfort so you don't need to constantly replace their pack.
Keeping children cool when they're outdoors is key, that's why the Ace 50 has an AirScape™ backpanel with foam ridges for ventilation. It also has a LightWire™ frame and internal compression to ensure the fit is fine tuned to your child no matter how the Ace is packed. The integrated raincover means that even out in the rain their pack and contents are easily protected. The Ace 50 is suitable for ages 10-16 years.

— Show originalA top buy for my 8 and 10-year-old children with long backs. It's worth measuring your child's back at home: from the protruding cervical vertebra to the height of the front hip bone. This adjusts to a back length of 36-46 cm (google torso length). It's nice to carry as it doesn't pack too much weight for the child. For us, two three-season sleeping bags and our own change of clothes were about 3.5 kg of contents in the backpack.
