I've only had the chance to use these boots on a few occasions, so I cannot comment on long-term quality and comfort. Regarding fit and comfort: I followed the sizing guide provided by Lundhags (my feet measure 300mm and I chose size EU47). The first time I tried them on, I barely could get my foot in, the throat of the boot was just too tight. I almost send them back because of this. But to be sure I took out the felt liner and tried that one on by itself, which fit perfectly (it even had some room in the toe). So I put the liner back into the boot and tried again. And little by little I managed to slip my foot in and out more easily. I suppose the leather needed to soften up a little to accommodate easier access. Long story short. The boots are very comfortable to walk in from the start. They didn't require any break-in time. Regarding warmth: So far I've only used them in -20°C to 0°C. I've taken these boots out on a casual walk at -5°C to 0°C and felt that they were running perhaps a bit too warm for my taste. I felt the need to take off my winter jacket to not over heat in those instances. At -20°C those boots feel most at home, I think. My feet have remained very comfortable hiking through the snow, even with just wearing thin merino liner socks. The thick felt-liner does great work keeping the feet warm. Overall I'm quite happy with these boots so far. For my purposes they are a great fit in terms of comfort and warmth.

Overall awesome boots, from what I’m used in Quebec, I would say they fit smaller, so I used Lundhags measurement tips and added 1 size. Usually, I have 42 and ordered 43.

Measured feet by the schedule. Fits perfect. They are nice to walk on. Warm, dry feet.

There is no experience with hard use yet, but without a doubt it will survive exactly what it was designed for (long day trips, wet and also winter conditions).
The shoe is very sturdy thanks to the sturdy rubber part, but flexible in the ankle and leg. There is no extra and unnecessary stuffing on the shaft, nor on the shoe
And that's a good thing, lightens and dries quickly. It also doesn't absorb water into the structures and increase weight during the day, like e.g. membrane shoes, which
I also have it in use. Insulation and comfort are guaranteed by the felt. Many have recommended getting a size bigger than usual. So do I.
Just for fall use, a snack is ok. However, the shoe is so sturdy that a small oversize is not a problem, and then you can afford to put on socks properly and
The shoe is still comfortable.

A true winter expedition boot, it is suitable for use in deep snow, wet conditions, on ice, and for marching on the road. These boots are stiffer than you might expect for a winter boot, but they begin to relax as you wear them, and furthermore, their stiffness is a gift when carrying heavier loads. Sizing wise, use the measuring system on the Lundhags' site: measure your foot and add 2cm, and that's how the boot is to be worn. Highly recommended.
