Product description
The Deerhunter Muflon Cap is water repellent and contains a Deer-Tex® Membrane. The cap has extra protection in the neck against cold.

Deer-Tex® membrane lies loosely between the outer fabric and the other layers. All seams are taped, making the product 100% waterproof.
The loose membrane is particularly suited to products where there is a major emphasis on being noiseless, for example during stalking and bow hunting.
If you’re hunting in light rain, a 3,000 mm water penetration resistance rating is appropriate. The Deer-Tex® membrane is rated up to 20,000 mm, which will protect you under the harshest of weather conditions. The membrane can be washed at 30 degrees without softner.
2-way-stretch
If you require extra freedom of movement and a good fit, choose one of Deerhunter’s products with stretch. Using materials with two-way stretch makes the hunting apparel stretchable, which enhances your freedom of movement.
Water Repellent
Products impregnated with water repellent treatment are water- and dirt-resistant. Stains are easy to remove. Extremely heat-resistant and has a very smooth surface.

— Show originalQuite OK. The flaps at the bottom work well but if the flaps are lifted inside as a "summer model" then the hat feels and looks somehow low or otherwise but silly. Then know if the fault is in the shape of the user's head. However, worked well on the yacht, holding water but not sweating. Not cold.I have not yet worn the hat as it is for November deer hunting in a cold climate - The hat appears to be very well made and I am certain that it will meet my needs and expectations. I have owned a similar hat made by Chevalier for many years - This is a replacement for that hat as it is getting worn. Quality hats for hunting in this style with ear flaps in hunter safety orange that are waterproof/water repellent are not available in the United States - I would give this hat a preliminary 5 star rating
