This lightweight, all-synthetic tactical boot features a bi-injected DynaPU® midsole for superb rebound, durability and cushioning and a PU MONOWRAP® frame for lateral stability. It’s designed to travel fast and light while providing a hiking boot’s reliable traction and support, and features closed lace hooks for security and toe & heel caps for added protection. Durably waterproof/breathable.

— Show originalThese shoes combine technicality, lightness and comfort. I used to use heavier Hanwag shoes when hiking, and from there I switched to this lighter model with a less stiff sole. HanWAG and LoWA are apparently sister manufacturers (WAgner). A 65kg person can easily hike with a 17kg backpack in these Lowa shoes, and their feet get less tired than with heavier shoes.
