My second pair of VJ XTRM, (had an other pair of trail running shoose in between) . Can't be compared. VJ XTRM has good fit, unike grip, feel light even when wet, drys quick.

— Show originalExcellent shoes, used for ocr and trail. — Show originalBased on the eco loops, a very promising slipper. There is quite clearly more attenuation than in the predecessor. Lesti better more space and has not rubbed like XTRM did. Otherwise pretty much all the same great features with a good feel to the substrate, great grip (including big pieces on different surfaces), rockplate (protects the bottom), drains well (mud, swamp, ponds, swimrun) and is well protected. You can see how that outer fabric lasts hard. I had that first XTRM batch where there is no weak shoe which was repaired later.
This slipper is therefore very suitable for a wide range of demanding rides (trail running, Swimrun, OCR ...), on the platform and also for long trips. Big and tall pieces may not be on a light surface at the moment, especially if you want to press really hard. Damping for ultrasounds (no experience) can be unnecessarily naphthistic.
At Ultr, I have run a lot of different runs. A very different shoe with the biggest difference in high sole, more cushioning, low pieces and lots of toe space (XTRM 2 also does well). In the ultra, the ankle is then crumbling this way, and especially in the rhizomes the grip is the same as in the iRock and XTRM. Maxx came to fit as well, but squeezed off the sole of the foot could not be considered. I just got the Iceherot. VJ shoes hard.
