Really handy hand warmers. It takes a while before "going off", but after that there is enough energy. Keeps hands and toes warm in harsh frosts (-23C) if put inside a boot or glove. The heat lasts a long time and is a useful aid if there is a need to spend really long periods in extreme cold. Suitable for extreme photography. And indeed, if you seal in an airtight plastic bag (Minigrip), then you can retain heat for the next use (if it’s not years away).

I have found good. I put warmers on my wrists over the artery between the sleeve of the undershirt and the sleeve of the midsole, allowing the blood flowing to the fingers to warm up. There will also be no direct skin contact. With a proper fire frost, I put other heaters on top of the top gloves. That way, they stay warm, even if I have to take off at times.
