These Danner 22500 boots are great! The cushioned midsole has great damping and due to the Gore-Tex I can use these boots year-round. The non-metallic safety toe let me keep my boots on when I have to go thru the metal detector area's and is better in winter conditions than steel. The boots are made with good quality materials, leather/Vibram sole/Gore-Tex etc. The only downsite for me is the high price...
