It worked for a few days, then the hose connection at the end of the kettle started to leak. The kettle started stuttering and turned off at times. The leak became a complete certainty when flames appeared at the joint. Fortunately, the backup cooker was a flawlessly functioning more than 15-year-old MSR pocket rocket.
