— Show originalI just returned from a 2 week hike in Lapland. The kettle worked great and was quick to use. The small size was especially appealing. Single meals fit in a container just right. A plastic measuring cup is a bit unnecessary for yourself in a set of this size. Instead, I would have included a smaller cooking vessel that can be used to brew coffee water while, for example, the main dish is withdrawn in a larger one. Even a slight wind takes it into the flame very easily, which means that it is a good idea to think in advance. A backpack or otherwise sheltered place for the kitchen or some kind of diy windbreak.
