Sturdy and high-quality shoes. The soles are quite hard material. In wet winter weather, it is worth taking ski poles as a shoe friend for uphills and trying to direct the movement towards soft ditches on downhills. A helmet is required. In the winter, these shoes would be part of the skating or skiing equipment, and not the shoe department, so slippery these can be praised along icy roads. In dry weather and in the woods, good shoes, but limited usability due to slipperiness. Wet icy road by far the most slippery shoes that I have ever used.
