Equally at home on low-vis operations and high-tempo assaults this boot combines the agility of a trail running shoe with the stability of a light hiker. Equipped with an Advanced Chassis providing lateral support and anti-puncture underfoot the boot is protective yet does not compromise freedom of movement.
The upper material needs to be robust and very flexible. To meet these requirements, a non-reflective material mix of anti-debris mesh, PU coate leather and single-layer mesh has been selected. The underlying GORE-TEX membrane makes the boot an ideal companion in all kinds of weather. The SensiFit system cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system to provide a secure, precise and almost customized fit. The inside of the boot is reinforced with an additional material to support climbing and fast rappelling.
The performance and stability of the sole construction play a crucial role in the field. In combination, the Contagrip Chevron Lugs outsole, Advanced Chassis and anti-puncture Enigma Zero HT2 insert provide an optimum response to all requirements. An OrthoLite inlay sole ensures a comfortable fit and additional damping in the boot, while perforations in the sole support a pleasant foot climate.

- ENIGMA ZERO HT2 Anti Puncture Insert: Woven, 3.9mm thickness and non-metallic. A layer of puncture-resistant material added to the outsole prevents sharp objects from penetrating the bottom of the shoe
- OrthoLite Insole: Ortholite insoles provide step-in comfort and enhanced durability, breathability, moisture and odor control using a combination of special PU and rubber

— Mostrar originalEstaba nervioso por los cordones Salomon XA Forces MID GTX EN Quicklace, así que quise cambiarlos por cordones normales. Según mi primera experiencia, estos cordones funcionan mejor, lo que significa que la zapatilla se abre correctamente al ponérsela y ventilarla.
También son quizás un poco más ligeros.
PERO... aunque la descripción del producto menciona protección antipinchazos, ¡estas zapatillas no tienen clasificación EN!
Esperemos que la etiqueta Forces siga significando una mayor resistencia al desgaste que las Salomon de mercado.
Con un uso exigente, las zapatillas de mercado duran un año, las profesionales dos. Volveremos con una reseña provisional de estas zapatillas en 12 meses.
