Blue Force Gear Limited Edition AK Sling V2

Due to overwhelming demand, we have created a second version of our Limited Edition Vickers AK Sling. When we originally set out to design the ultimate AK sling there were two main objectives.  First, it had to perform like all of our patented Vickers slings.  Second, it had to be badass.  Over a year in the making, our Limited Edition AK Sling is a combination of innovation, quality, and retro-Soviet accents. 

For the front connection point we developed an all new piece of hardware!  The molded Universal Wire Loop – Push Button is the perfect attachment device for the AK as it uses a high heat resistant, non-marring, nylon coated stainless steel cable for the front end. Next, we channeled the retro 1980’s AK vibe by creating custom polymer hardware that matches the famous “plum” coloring that legend says resulted from the Russians not quite getting their black coloring right.  For the label we used a process never before employed to mark a BFG sling: Ink stamping.  Just like they did it in the motherland, complete with inspector’s proof stamp!  Finally, to make this sling the ultimate compliment to your AK, we hand select premium leather pull tab pieces and sew them one at a time to our Quick Adjuster on a custom machine.
