Descripción

A figure of 8 with a twist. By turning the angle of alignment of the attachment hole and rope running hole by 90 degrees, the Anka allows properly orientation of the descender when used on a Centre or Industrial harness, i.e. when the belay loop is horizontally orientated (It sits vertically in most mountaineering style harnesses).

It is made from hot forged aluminium for strength and has plenty of metal to displace heat and increase longevity. Additional wings help minimise the risk of the control rope ‘flipping’ over the 8 and jamming onto the loaded rope.

  • Anodised to BS EN 7599:2010 AA10 Sealed for corrosion protection
  • 90 degree connection point and horns allow preferred orientation and Larks Foot prevention
  • Available in Black, Olive or Sand
  • Individually marked for traceability
