PIEPS

Since 1972 PIEPS is engaged in the development and production of avalanche beacons. The introduction of the PIEPS DSP in 2003 was the breakthrough in the international market.

Successful product design and technology leadership led Seidel Electronic 2007 to found the Pieps GmbH.

On 1st October 2012 the American manufacturer of outdoor equipment Black Diamond Equipment AG took over the PIEPS GmbH. This development opend new international business opportunities and guarantees future success.
