Field tested for long, stationary stretches in adverse conditions, the Colossus Parka is complete with VerticalX Eco insulation for enhanced warmth designed to withstand the coldest climates and shaped to fit over other layers. Prevent cold air and precipitation from sneaking into your garment with these built-in thumb holes. The zipper opens from the bottom as well as the top for easy ventilation, extra room when sitting down, or access to a climbing harness. The chin liners soft, stitched fabric that's comfortable against your chin, preventing rubbing even when moving fast.

本当に素敵なジャケットです。柔らかくて静かです。今のところの私の絶対的なお気に入り。このジャケットは秋、冬、春に間違いなく着用できます。ポケットも大きくて良いです。手袋をしたままでも使える良いジッパーです。素敵な大きなフード。このジャケットは超暖かいだろうと思っていましたが、-30～-10℃の気温でしか使えませんでした。しかし、下に半袖のシャツだけを着れば、犬の散歩中に気温が+3℃でもこのジャケットは機能します。風をしっかり防ぎ、OR Allies Colossus パンツよりも通気性に優れています。ジャケットを着るとすぐに暑くなって汗をかくだろうと予想していたので、これは嬉しい驚きでした。このジャケットはまだ -5℃ でしか使用できなかったため、実際の霜テストは来冬 (2025～2026 年) に実施する予定です。メリノウールのレイヤーがあれば、-30℃の気温でも機能すると思われます。少し気になるのは、ジッパーを一番上まで上げると首元がきつくて高くなることですが、なぜこのデザインが作られたのかは理解できます。その一方で、風、雪、寒さから快適に保護してくれるので、必ずしも下にバフを着用する必要はありません。
