The Albatross Control reimagines a novel traction pattern from our past in a robust, slip-resistant package, featured a sleek contoured heel counter and a unique non-slip outsole.
To compliment the enhanced outsole, Karhu added more body to the shoe, increasing the thickness of the midsole by adding an extra stripe of EVA for additional cushion and support. The Albatross Control also utilizes speckled rope laces and a plush nylon tongue with binding, a nod to the Synchron TBA, a model from the mid 80s, for added style and comfort. They come in two fall- ready colourways. Both options feature suede overlays stitched onto slightly different upper constructions. India Ink/Golden Yellow utilizes water-repellent nylon for its base. India Ink/ Cherry Tomato is constructed from grained leather.
