A durable jacket in a hybrid construction, with ventilating sections for maximum comfort, flexible stretch across the back and protective fabric for demanding weather, where we combine waterproofness, durability and ventilating material. The jacket is perfect for ski touring, skating tours, hiking and backcountry skiing in colder, demanding weather, but works just as well for easier, calmer activities.
Makke Pro is made from thick, durable Lundhags Polyester Cotton mix (LPC) Wax, a mix of organic cotton and recycled polyester, with the waxed surface can handle light rain and give a rugged feel. The jacket is reinforced with a waterproof 3-layer fabric, with 4-way stretch and taped seams on the shoulders, back and hood to keep you dry. Side ventilation allows you to release unwanted heat on warmer days, or when doing a peak on skis.

I owned an old model of this jacket for 12 years. It was incredibly good so I decided to go for the new one. The only complain I have with the new one are the mesh pockets. I don't understand how they could do it like that. I'm sure they will break soon. Luckily that's easily repairable. Otherwise the jacket is just perfect. Is NOT a rain jacket but it works perfect for protection under rain until you get some shelter. The jacket itself seems to be as rough and durable as the old one was, so take my word that this jacket will serve you for many years to come. I just don understand the pockets thing, even less when there is ventilation zipper on the sides, which my old model didn't have. Also the inner little chest pocket is not anymore inside both chest pockets. That's why I gave only 3 stars. For this price I would have expected better design. Specially after so many years. I don't understand why to redesign something that was perfect. Anyway, I bought it and I'm very satisfied. I will buy it again. This will always be my 3 seasons jacket.

I've been buying Lundhags gear for the past few years and have been impressed. Wanting a full suit I ordered the Makke Pro suit based on my past Lundhags experience. On the one hand I've not been able to test it exhaustively this year. But, I have certainly used it. Unfortunately, even with fairly limited use, it seems that Lundhags manufacturing has declined in quality. Fit and finish are not as good as my Abisku trousers from a few years ago. There are too many threads hanging. The mesh used in the crotch vent is dismal. It is much, much finer than the old material so it gets caught in the zipper. Not easy to free in your crotch! Even worse, the old gear had a small flap just inside the vent zippers that prevented this and this flap has been dropped pretty much guaranteeing the zipper is going to get caught. The poor design and lower quality materials have already resulted in a hole in the mesh. The same mesh is inside the jacket handwarmer pockets and it is NOT going to last. This was a really expensive suit and whatever they saved in using cheaper materials and lower quality control will not make up for losing customers. Honestly, I really went back and forth between this suit and the Fjallraven Keb. I wish I'd gone with the Keb.
