It's simple to take electronic backpacks (Jetforce) on flights. Their lithium batteries are allowed by the transportation regulations.

Checklist for freeriders:

  • shovel, probe, avalanche transceiver
  • first aid kit, light
  • map, compass, phone
  • water container (isolated hose in case of bladder) and food
  • insurance that covers skiing off piste
