Designed to excel on dry and windy days, the softshell Frode jacket is built from our tried and tested WindStretch™, striking the fine line between insulation and windproofness. Environmentally-friendly and durable, it's a great jacket for when the sun goes to bed but you're not quite ready to do the same.


Frode was a Danish monarch who ruled over a particularly peaceful time in his kingdom. This jacket goes about its business with a similar smile on its face. No-nonsense but technical, it has become a favourite every day jacket here at the office in Åre. The hood in particular is designed to fit as well as a hat, with adjustment cords and a stretchy forehead panel. There is also microfleece lining in the neck to ensure comfort. The Frode is a fluorocarbon-free, water repellant, tried and tested piece of outerwear which everyone has a need for at one time or another.
