The Leki Sherpa will keep you safe and stable on demanding mountain tours in high terrain mountains! The three-section pole is specially designed for mountaineering and is equipped with the new Aergon Air. The grip has been improved in numerous ways and has been completely redesigned in terms of comfort and control. Its special hollow core technology combines lightweight construction with large, supportive surfaces that meet all the ergonomic requirements of your hand. Maximum grip and control when going downhill is provided by the Aergon Air´s rubberized grip back. The inclined angle supports your wrist for optimal guidance and placement of the pole and contributes safety on the mountain. This stable mountaineering pole is equipped with a flex tip, allowing the Big Mountain Binding Basket to be added directly on the mountain in case of snow. Made from aluminum, the Sherpa is stable and yet weighs only 279 g, making it your trusty mountain ally.
- The Aergon Air combined lightness with stability. Its ergonomic shape provides maximum comfort, while the fully rubber grip head provides absolute control.
- Adjustable strap with safety release. It is ultra-light, highly breathable and offers ideal comfort.

The product quality is excellent and I am fully satisfied with my purchase from Varuste.net. However, I have to deduct one star due to delivery issues caused by FedEx, the shipping partner. While Varuste.net processed my order quickly and provided great service, FedEx’s customs handling was problematic: they consolidated my two independent shipments, resulting in unjustified customs charges and a lot of extra paperwork and frustration for me as the recipient. Communication with FedEx was slow and unhelpful, and it took significant time and effort to resolve the situation. Ensimmäisellä reissulla kolmantena päivänä näiden sauvojen kanssa tuli liukastuttua, ja oma ja rinkan paino(n. 130 kg) kasaantui vasemman käden ja sauvan varaan. Sauvan keskimmäinen osa nurjahti ja napsahti poikki. Onneksi kaaduin sauvan viereen, eikä itseen/varusteisiin tullut uusia reikiä. Laitoin viestiä valmistajalle noin kuukausi sitten toiveena, että tuota keskimmäistä osaa saisi varaosana. Ei vielä vastausta. Positiivisia asioita: Säätö toimii hyvin, pito ok monenlaisella alustalla, ergonomia hyvä.
