As its name suggests, thanks to the length and model of the blade, this knife is suitable as a woodcarving knife, and as a knife for handling small game or fish. The hand moulded handle fits especially well in a bigger hand. The handle is treated with linseed oil, and it does not slip in the hand.

My first Finnish knife but not the last..great to handle and cuts really well

The description states that the blade length is 80 mm, but in real life it is about 77 mm. And there is a small gap between the spine and the handle. But apart from these, it is a nice knife, I really like the shape.

A knife to finish myself, handle was sticky not clean and with white « haze », and not really sanded, i have made the final finish, and now it is beautiful, also it was not sharp at all. I guess if i cannot do something myself I’ll be disappointed, but i like it, it have a nice shape, and very good looking once finished.
