Pistehitsatun kaminan ilmanottoa ei saa säädettyä tarpeeksi pieneksi, koska nurkat vuotavat. Puun menekki on aivan liian suuri, ja kamina on tulikuuma. Samasta syystä puuta pitää lisätä noin puolen tunnin välein, muuten kamina sammuu. On siis lähes tarpeeton oikeaan talvikäyttöön. Piipunsuojuksen kiinnitys on hieman rimpula. Terveisin Hiking Viking

Ensimmäinen sytytys oli moitteeton ja -15 C pakkasella Helsport Pasvik 6-8 lämpeni miellyttäväksi yhdellä puupesällisellä. Tämä kaminakoko vaikuttaa sopivalta näin suureen kotaan.

Vaikuttaa ihan toimivalta kapistukselta. Toisessa jalassa oli alkujaan valmistusvirhe ja se meni vaihtoon.

Lämmittää tehokkaasti Varanger telttaa. Ei ole keveimmästä päästä, mutta pesään mahtuu muutakin kuin pikku tikkuja.

Excellent stove! Exterior will discolor and slightly rust (it's not stainless steel) so keep it dry and/or coat it with oil or high-temp paint if that bothers you. The door does warp slightly, which causes the air-intake knob to stick in whatever position it is in before it heats up. The top and bottom have a reinforced baffle so they don't warp much at all. My only real complaint is that the stove jack (metal shield) that protects the tent fabric as the chimney pipe passes through the opening is only secured to the pipe by friction. Mine slid down the chimney pipe and slammed onto the top of the stove many times when the wind blew strongly; scared the hell out of me when I was sleeping. I'll probably make some kind of wing-nut/screw device to hold secure it better; or continue to use one of the drying rack/kettle holder arms to keep it from slamming down onto the stove top.
