A-Tec A-Lock Mini Adapteri

A-LOCK MINI changes how you attach and detach your silencer. It changes what you look for in a silencer and it will change your view on threads. You want a silencer with A-LOCK mini: The greatest little thing we ever made.

With A-LOCK mini you attach and detach your silencer with a short 60 degree twist using similar amount of force/torque as with regular threads. It takes literally less than a second. The durable design withstands wear and tear better than regular threads.

A-LOCK mini will be made to fit most threads so you will not have to change the thread on your barrel.

½”-20 UNF | ½”-28 UNEF | 5/8”-24 UNEF

If you have an A-LOCK Mini compatible silencer the A-LOCK Mini Adapter must be attached properly to your barrle prior to shooting. We recommend that this is done by a gunsmith with the correct tools.

Check that the rifle is unloaded and remove the bolt from the action.
Degrease the threads on the A-LOCK Mini Adapter and on the barrel.
Apply Loctite 638 to the threads on your barrel.
Attach and tighten the A-LOCK Mini Adapter to the barrel with the special tool.
Tighten with moderate force using the special tool. Not too hard, or the A-LOCK Mini threads may be damaged.
Wipe off excess adhesive.
Apply grease on the A-LOCK Mini Adapter.
Attach and detach the silencer a few times to check the fitting and alignment.
