FROG.PRO Sniper Core

The Sniper CORE was designed to respond to the need of Special Forces sniper teams and reconnaissance units for a true modular platform, capable of carrying observation devices, comms and ammo and of adapting to the mission profile.

THE MAIN POUCH
The main pouch represents the "core" of the system: the main zippered compartment, closed by YKK® Aquaguard water-repellant zipper and protected by a layer of 1mm thick plastic technopolymer and closed cell foam, is designed to carry optronic observation devices and mission tools. Meanwhile, the kangaroo pouch allows the operator to apply different types of inserts to better fit the mission profile, such as the SMG Mag Velcro Insert, the 5.56 Mag Velcro Insert or the 7.62 Mag Velcro Insert.

Once on the Final Firing Position or Observation Post, the main pouch can be silently detached from the chest rig and placed beside the rifle, allowing the operator to reach the content while in prone position, reducing his movements to the minimum. The two slim shoulder straps can be equipped through the G-Hooks, in order to facilitate an eventual escape from the field.

THE A3 MAP POUCH
Just below the kangaroo pouch there is a YKK® Vislon zipper that holds in place a detachable A3 Map Pouch, featuring a 30 x 42 cm transparent PVC window that protects the documents from elements. The map pouch is secured by elasticized webbing and Fidlock® magnetic buckles that make fold and unfold operations much more easier.

THE CHEST RIG
The chest rig design is a masterpiece of ergonomics: the chest part maintains the same wearing height of a classic micro rig, perfect for a fast reload and for crouching comfortably, while the sides in low-ride position improve comfort when carrying handgun, magazines or radios in the two built-in side pouches, and the accessibility to the zippered pouches attached via MOLLE system.

The shape of the harness grants an optimal distribution of the load between the entire upper part of the back, the trapezius and partly on the pectoral muscles. The lumbar panel, in addition to increasing comfort in the lower back area, allows to attach the lower part of long hydration pouches or additional pockets.

The closed cell foam padding features a laser cut circles pattern which, combined with the 3D air mesh fabric, enhances ventilation and reduces moisture and sweat accumulation in the chest area, providing a significant benefit in extended patrolling missions and activities in hot climates.

The Fidlock® magnetic V-Buckles enable the operator to seamlessly don and doff the chest rig, even if blindfolded.

THE FRONT AND REAR BALLISTIC PLATES BAGS
The front and rear ballistic plates bags, in addition to expanding the carrying capacity through the Multi-Dot MOLLE PALS system, they can be easily attached or detached via the magnetic Fidlock® V-Buckles, allowing the operator to choose the protection level based on the mission profile. The 4-way stretch elastic fabric in the inner part allows to accommodate Medium or Large SAPI / E-SAPI cut ballistic plates.
