The newest style to join the Gatorz collection, the Specter is a high performance frame featuring all the benefits of a wrap style complete with edgy, hard lines.  An entirely new Gatorz look, this style offers enhanced eye protection.  The high impact resistant lenses will shield your eyes from unexpected fragments.  This style offers a fully adjustable frame and nosepiece ensuring a comfortable and secure fit.  Thin temples fit easily under helmets or ear protection.  This frame features a sleek blackout logo and comes complete with Cerakote finish. The high quality Cerakote coating increase hardness to the frame and provides the frame with added durability and anti-corrosion properties. This makes our Cerakote frames one of the most durable sunglasses in the market.

The smoked (grey) lens is suitable for general usage and maintain true color perception and greatly reduces eye fatigue from the sun's glare. 

Note! The colour of the frames is Gunmetal Grey, although in some studio pictures the frames look black.

MILSPEC BALLISTICS (MIL-PRF-32432A: Clause 3.8.4.1)

Our MILSPEC Specter is certified to the US Military MIL-PRF-32432A standards for Ballistic Fragmentation Characteristics under Clause 3.8.4.1. Our MILSPEC Specter can withstand high velocity impact with a .15 caliber projectile shot at velocities between 700-725 feet per second, providing the user with unparalleled eye protection.

ANSI Z87+

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is a US non-profit organization that creates uniform testing standards. The Specter meets/exceeds the ANSI/ISEA Z 87.1 – 2015 Standard, which is the portion outlining eyewear requirements. This ensures that the proper level of protection is worn based on hazards present in the workplace. Glasses meeting the Z87.1 standard have been measured for:

• Exposure to non-ionizing radiation and chemicals
• Durability to flammables and corrosion
