Black Diamond Distance Winter Cap is a tall, expedition-ready winter gaiter built for demanding mountaineering and ski touring days where weather protection and durability matter most. This gaiter uses a three-layer Gore-Tex upper to block wet snow while still letting moisture escape during hard efforts. A welded abrasion guard adds extra defense against repeated hits from crampons and ski edges. The removable underfoot ski-strap style instep strap is designed for quick replacement if it gets damaged mid-trip.
